Apnaa Local is a digital-first local ecosystem designed to bring businesses, consumers, educators, event organizers, and real estate professionals together on a single platform.

The solution was designed around a single unified platform with multiple verticals, enabling users to discover local opportunities while allowing businesses and service providers to establish and grow their digital presence.

The development team worked closely with the client to define the platform architecture, user journeys, business workflows, marketplace functionality, and scalable backend infrastructure.

Firebase Push Notifications

Firebase Cloud Messaging enables real-time notifications for new products, order updates, event reminders, course updates, property alerts, promotional offers, booking confirmations, payment updates, and personalized recommendations.

 

Payment Gateway & Invoicing

The platform provides secure payment infrastructure for products, event tickets, courses, services, and eligible property-related bookings. Automated invoices and transaction records are generated for completed purchases.

 

Ratings & Reviews

Users can rate and review products, businesses, events, courses, educators, properties, and services, helping improve transparency, customer confidence, and trust across the platform.

 

Admin & Business Management

A centralized administration system enables management of users, businesses, products, events, courses, properties, orders, bookings, payments, reviews, offers, promotions, reports, analytics, and platform content.

Technologies Used

 

Web Application

Angular was used to build a responsive, scalable, and interactive web application for customers, businesses, event organizers, educators, and real estate providers. HTML5, CSS3, and TypeScript were used to create responsive interfaces, reusable components, forms, dashboards, and interactive user experiences.

 

Backend

Java with Spring Boot was used to develop secure and scalable RESTful APIs, business logic, authentication, marketplace workflows, order management, event bookings, course enrollments, property listings, and payment processes. Spring Security was implemented for authentication, authorization, role-based access control, and API security.

 

Database

MySQL was used as the primary relational database for managing user profiles, businesses, products, orders, events, event registrations, courses, course enrollments, property listings, inquiries, payments, reviews, and ratings.

 

API & Integration

REST APIs were used to facilitate communication between the Angular frontend and Java backend. Third-party API integrations were implemented for payment gateways, maps and location services, notifications, and other external services.

 

Authentication & Security

JWT (JSON Web Tokens) was used for secure user authentication and session management. Spring Security provided role-based access for customers, vendors, administrators, educators, event organizers, and real estate providers. HTTPS and CORS were implemented to ensure secure communication between frontend and backend services.

 

Notifications

Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) was used to deliver push notifications and alerts for order updates, event reminders, course updates, property notifications, promotional offers, booking confirmations, new listings, and payment updates.

 

Payment Integration

Razorpay was integrated to process secure payments for products, event tickets, courses, bookings, and other premium services.

 

Deployment & Infrastructure

Nginx was used as a reverse proxy and web server for routing requests between the Angular application and Java backend. Cloud infrastructure was used to host the application, APIs, database, and supporting services with scalability and reliability. CI/CD pipelines were implemented to automate the build, testing, and deployment processes for the Angular and Java applications.
