Apnaa Local is a digital-first local platform connecting users with nearby retail stores, restaurants, and food vendors. As part of the Shops & Food ecosystem on Apnaa Local, this custom solution provides a unified web portal for restaurant owners, food vendors, kitchen managers, and administrators to manage food preparation workflows, handle inventory, coordinate local deliveries, and streamline kitchen operations efficiently.

 

Challenges

Manual order management, inefficient kitchen workflow coordination, lack of real-time inventory tracking for perishable ingredients, delayed order processing during peak hours, uncoordinated delivery partner dispatching, and limited operational analytics for food service vendors.

 

Solution

A custom, scalable food service operations web portal was developed to centralize and automate restaurant and food vendor management. Integrated into the Apnaa Local enterprise architecture, it provides digital menu management, real-time Kitchen Display System (KDS) tracking, automated order dispatching, and operational management workflows.
